National Thematic Inspection: Inclusion: Promoting positive
behaviour - Parents and Carers' pre visit Questionnaire
We will be visiting your child's school in the next few weeks to evaluate the approaches taken to record and monitor incidents of bullying.  We would like you to give us your views in relation to your own experiences.  Your views are important to us because they will form part of the evidence we collect during the visit.

We may give your school a summary of all the results of the questionnaires we receive.  Your views will remain confidential, unless they raise specific issues, for example in relation to child protection.  In these circumstances, they would be shared with the school and appropriate agencies.

We are collecting this information using Formic online survey application.  Your answers will be treated in the strictest confidence and all data disclosed will be handled, processed and stored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018. Although we are asking for your name, the data collected will be summarised for analysis and reporting purposes only.  No individual will be personally identified, unless a specific issue is raised, as outlined above.  Anonymised and summarised responses and quotes may be used in our (Education Scotland) internal and external publications.  You have the right to withdraw your consent to processing your personal data at any time and you have the right to access your data.  Responses will be stored securely in a restricted access file on the Education Scotland document management system. Only relevant Education Scotland staff will see individual responses. Your responses will only be used for these purposes.

For further information about this and how your data will be used please see the Education Scotland Privacy Policy (link below).

The questionnaire should only take you about 10 minutes to answer.  Please look over the questions and let us know what you think by selecting the response that most represents your view.
